Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is taking “close family ties” to a whole new level. The actor and comedian revealed that he has set aside a massive portion of his property specifically for his eldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, and her husband, Joe Hooten.
In a funny and candid revelation, Foxx shared his generous (and persistent) plan to keep his family living right next door.
A 10-Acre Space for the Newlyweds
Following Corinne’s wedding to Joe Hooten, Jamie Foxx wasted no time planning their living arrangements. Instead of having them buy a house miles away, the proud father cleared out a huge chunk of his own estate.
“I cleared out like 10 acres for her in the backyard,” Foxx shared. “I said, ‘Look, you can build your house right here.’ That way, she’s close, but she still has her own space.”
While 10 acres offers plenty of privacy, Foxx joked about his true intentions—making sure he can drop by to visit his future grandkids whenever he wants without having to drive across town.
Jamie Foxx and Corinne’s Unbreakable Bond
The father-daughter duo has always shared a close personal and professional relationship. From co-hosting the hit game show Beat Shazam to producing projects together, Corinne has been by her father’s side throughout his career.
Corinne was also instrumental in supporting her father during his medical emergency and recovery, a time that Jamie credits with bringing their family even closer together.
Family First in the Foxx Household
Despite his Hollywood superstar status, Jamie Foxx has always prioritized family above all else. His offer of 10 acres reflects his tight-knit family values and his desire to build a multi-generational compound where everyone can stay connected.
Whether Corinne and her husband take him up on the full 10-acre offer remains to be seen, but Jamie has made it very clear that the door—and the land—is always open.
