Founder, ConnectEdge Media
In an era of short attention spans and endless scrolling, Ethan Hayes knows that the future belongs to brands that tell stories worth stopping for. As the founder of ConnectEdge Media, he’s rewriting the rules of digital storytelling and showing businesses how to build communities, not just clicks.
Finding His Voice
Ethan’s journey into media started when he was just fifteen, running a local blog that covered indie music and underground art in Portland. That passion turned into a journalism degree, then a career in digital publishing.
By 2017, he’d had enough of churned-out articles and clickbait headlines. He wanted to help brands communicate with integrity and creativity.
So, he launched ConnectEdge Media — a content studio that crafts high-impact campaigns and original branded stories for clients worldwide.
The Art of Digital Storytelling
At ConnectEdge, Ethan leads a team of writers, videographers, and strategists who believe great content should feel human — not algorithmic.
Whether it’s a startup’s origin video or a Fortune 500’s behind-the-scenes documentary, Ethan’s team brings audiences closer through authenticity and craft.
“The goal is connection, not just conversion,” Ethan says. “When people feel something real, they share it. That’s the real power of digital storytelling.”
Giving Back to Creators
Ethan also mentors young writers and filmmakers through his StoryNext initiative, offering free workshops, internships, and funding for passion projects that deserve a bigger stage.
He regularly speaks at media summits about the balance between creativity and technology in an AI-dominated landscape.
Looking Ahead
ConnectEdge is expanding its footprint in Europe and Asia, working with NGOs, conscious brands, and culture-driven companies. For Ethan, success is measured by the stories told — and the connections sparked.
“Good stories don’t just sell products,” he says. “They build trust. They move people. That’s priceless.”
