Indian deeptech startup Zenergize Technologies has raised $4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Giraffe Studios, marking a significant step in the company’s plans to expand its manufacturing and technology capabilities.
The round includes a combination of equity and venture debt, with participation from industrial entrepreneurs, angel investors and existing backers. The funding comes less than two years after Zenergize was founded and follows rapid commercial growth in the electric mobility and renewable energy sectors.
Strong Growth Within the First Year
Founded in September 2024 by Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, Zenergize spent around four and a half years on research and development before entering the market.
Within its first year of commercialization, the company reached an annual revenue run rate of more than ₹30 crore and built an order book exceeding ₹150 crore.
Interestingly, the startup says demand has grown faster than its current production capacity. As a result, increasing manufacturing output has become one of the company’s most immediate priorities.
Funding to Expand Manufacturing and R&D
The newly raised capital will be directed toward several areas of expansion.
Zenergize plans to increase manufacturing capacity, strengthen engineering capabilities and accelerate research and development. The company also intends to expand its nationwide sales and service network.
Another major focus will be developing the operational capabilities required to work with large enterprise customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Building Indigenous SiC-Based Technology
Zenergize develops Silicon Carbide (SiC)-based power electronics for electric mobility, renewable energy and other industrial applications.
The company says it has developed India’s first indigenous SiC-based DC fast charger and solar inverter platforms. Its EV charging portfolio includes both AC and DC chargers, with DC models supporting capacities of up to 240 kW.
Its solar inverter products have also received BIS certification, while its EV charging products have secured automotive certifications.
